“Help You and Your Family”…Mitt Romney

“President Obama has promised to slow the rise of the oceans and to heal the planet. My promise is to help you and your family.”   This was one of the great quotes delivered by Mitt Romney last night, as he accepted the Republican nomination for President.   Throughout the speech, Romney talked about the fail promises of our current President who has led our country in the wrong direction.

Jason Howerton of theBlaze.com states that “Romney explained that he understands why Obama’s promise of “hope and change” was enticing, but added “there’s something wrong with the kind of job he’s done as president when the best feeling you had, was the day you voted for him.”

2016: Obama’s America Movie Review

The new movie based on Dinesh D’Souza’s book will be showing closer to home.  It is now scheduled to show at the Milford 16 Rave Theater on Friday, August 24th, as well as in Mason.  Read Ted Stevenot, one of the founders of the Clermont County Tea Party, review of the movie.   Folks, after reading D’Souza’s book, ‘The Roots of Obama’s Rage,” I was given some insight as to why President Obama has done what he has these past 4 years.  Anti-colonialism is not talked about much.  I believe that our President is systematically dismantling America.  Why not plan to see the movie and decide for yourself?

Paul Ryan and His Budget for Prosperity

Even though Paul Ryan was just chosen Saturday as Mitt Romney’s running mate, the media, pundits and bloggers are racing to criticize his budget plan, The Path to Prosperity: A Blueprint for American Renewal.

As I have heard all day on talk radio, 550 WKRC, seniors are afraid about the plan because they believe that medicare will be taken away from them.  I understand this fear and frustration, because the plan is hard to understand.  I have found an article on heritage.org  by  and  entitled “The Ryan Budget: Confronting the Nation’s Spending Crisis”, that explains Ryan’s budget plan in terms that even I can understand.  The budget is a two-fold plan that lays out specific fixes for both spending and the debt.

“It rolls back the spending excesses of the past, tackles entitlement programs, makes defense a priority, and undertakes an important growth agenda to unleash America’s free enterprise system and get Americans back to work.”

It is worth giving it a read to familiarize yourself with the plan, so when talking with family and friends we have a clue.  Just another step in the ‘right’ direction.

Paul Ryan…the VP Choice!

Paul Ryan, Congressman from Wisconsin who also the Chairman of the Budget Committee and author of the House Republicans’  budget plan, has just been chosen to be Mitt Romney’s running mate.  This choice tells me that the Republicans are serious about reigning in the deficit and the free-fall spending of the past, which includes our current President’s spending spree.  This should give the campaign a shot in the arm as they gear up to the 40th Republican National Convention, August 27th-30th in Tampa.
